1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which the State Concern “Turkmengas” donated 2 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas to the Kyrgyz Republic as friendly and fraternal assistance. This decision was made in connection with the difficult situation in the energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. 53 railway tanks were prepared for the delivery of humanitarian cargo. The shipment of LNG became a manifestation of friendly relations between the two countries and the continuation of the traditions of humanism of the Turkmen people.
2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the head of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Noting that relations between Turkmenistan and Laos are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan’s interest in expanding bilateral ties and expressed confidence in the further development of interstate cooperation in the interests of both peoples through joint efforts.
3. Turkmen students won a prize at the “UNITEN International Cultural Evening” event in Kuala Lumpur by performing the national dance Kushtdepdi, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia reports. UNITEN International Culture Night is an annual cultural event organized by the Society of International Students. At this celebration of diversity and talent, students from different countries perform, presenting their national costumes, dances, songs, theater performances and other cultural elements.
4. Hero of Turkmenistan Oleg Kononenko, commander of the cosmonaut corps, wrote his name in the history of astronautics, becoming the record holder for the total stay in orbit. He surpassed the achievement of Gennady Padalka, who spent more than 878 days in space. Oleg Kononenko’s new achievement is 1000 days in near-Earth space. In June he will celebrate his 60th anniversary in orbit, and by the end of the year-long expedition his record will be even more impressive. At the present time, Kononenko is making the fifth space flight in his career.
5. The annual traditional meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with the ambassadors of the CIS countries took place in Moscow. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aydogdyev also took part in it. The purpose of the event was to sum up the results of cooperation within the Commonwealth in 2023 and consider plans for the future.
6. A meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea to celebrate the announcement of 2024 as the Year of “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi” and the presentation of the book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland”. Turkmen students studying in the Republic of Korea took part in the event. Ambassador of Turkmenistan Begench Durdyev in his speech noted the great importance of the creative heritage of Magtymguly Fragi, calling for unity and humanism. A book by the President of Turkmenistan, which is of great importance for the education of the younger generation, was also presented.

Biologists from the United States have made a real breakthrough: for the first time in history, they managed to create human brain tissue on a 3D printer that is capable of growing and functioning like the real thing. Unlike traditional 3D printing methods, where layers of material are stacked vertically, in this case the scientists used a horizontal orientation. The brain cells were arranged side by side, like pencils on a table. A special soft gel was used to provide the necessary structure and support for neural connections.

10. A children's football festival was held in Ashgabat. About 100 children, aged 10-12 years, took part in it. The football festival was held in the format of game sessions, which were based on the basic technical elements of football. There were several stations on the field; at each station, children performed various exercises, kicked shots at the goal, and took part in competitions. Children actively took part in all games. The purpose of the festival was to increase the popularity of football in the country.
