A telephone conversation took place between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Turkey. The heads of foreign affairs departments Rashid Meredov and Hakan Fidan discussed the progress of implementation of previously reached agreements at the highest state level and the possibility of further deepening bilateral cooperation, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

Particular attention was paid to the political, economic and trade interaction between the two countries. The parties emphasized the importance of maintaining regular contacts between foreign policy departments to strengthen Turkmen-Turkish relations.
