The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Baku hosted an event dedicated to the announcement of the year 2024 in Turkmenistan - “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi”, during which the work of the great poet-thinker, the international celebration of the 300th anniversary of his birth, as well as issues of preparation for this were discussed event in Turkmenistan, reports the press service of the Turkmen foreign policy department.
In addition, the presentation of the first book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland” took place. It was noted that the book is of great importance for educating patriotic, educated and broad-minded youth.
The event was attended by professors from the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, ethnologists and Turkmen students studying in Azerbaijan.
The event ended with the screening of a documentary film about Magtymguly Fragi, filmed in Azerbaijan by the Turkmenfilm Association named after Oguzhan called Hakyň guly - Magtymguly.
