The Turkmen football club "Ahal" from the city of Anau has officially changed the team logo ahead of the start of the new season of the 2024 Turkmenistan Football Championship. This was reported by the club's press service.
The updated logo uses a minimal number of colors. In the center of the logo is the sign of the Main Directorate of Turkmennebitonumleri, the main sponsor of the team, and the year the club was founded is 1989.
“The new logo symbolizes the beginning of a new era in the team’s history,” the statement said.
Ahal expects to regain the championship title in the new season, which it won in 2022. Last season, Serdar Geldiyev’s team took fourth place in the Major League standings.
