On the night of January 10-11 at 00:55 Ashgabat time, the first semi-final match of the English League Cup between “Liverpool” and “Fulham” will be held. A live broadcast of the match will be available on the “Turkmenistan Sport” TV channel, reports Turkmentv.gov.tm.
“Liverpool” is considered the favorites of the meeting, despite personnel problems. Jurgen Klopp's team has shown good form in recent matches and is leading the Premier League standings. Last week, the “Reds” beat “Arsenal” (2-0) in the FA Cup and “Newcastle United” (4-2) in the league.
“Fulham” is also in good form. Marco Silva's team won two victories and one draw in the last matches. In the FA Cup, the “Cottagers” beat “Rotherham United” (1:0), and in the Premier League they defeated “Arsenal” (2:1).
Let us note that in the other pair of semi-finalists, “Chelsea” lost away to “Middlesbrough”. The meeting was held on Tuesday in “Middlesbrough” and ended in a 1:0 victory for the hosts. Hayden Hackney scored the only goal in the 37th minute.
