The Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in connection with the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
“The bright time of the New Year and Christmas holidays is always associated in people’s minds with the expectation of good changes, with the hope of successfully overcoming difficulties and trials.
I am convinced that the development of cooperation between the Russian Orthodox Church, state authorities and public associations can make an important contribution to the establishment in the lives of contemporaries of the principles of good neighborliness, solidarity and mercy”, - the message says.
Taking this opportunity, Patriarch Kirill wished the head of state good health, mental peace and all kinds of prosperity.
