President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2024 through a digital system. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mahrijemal Mammedova reported on preparations for celebrations and events to mark the proclamation of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024, writes TDH.

As noted, it is planned to launch events in honor of the status of the cultural capital of the Turkic world delegated to the city of Anau in 2024. As part of the cultural event, a concert and an exhibition of works by artists, masters of fine and decorative arts, as well as photographers of the Turkic peoples will be organized.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the ancient city of Anau is one of the thriving centers of human culture. As the head of state noted, this city has been known throughout the world since ancient times and has attracted the attention of the world scientific community for centuries.

In this regard, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carefully prepare for the planned events that will take place on the occasion of the declaration of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.
