The feature film Back to Black about the life and work of British singer Amy Winehouse will be released in cinemas on April 12, 2024. This was reported by snob.ru with reference to NME.
The main role was played by Marisa Abela, known for the series “Industry”. The biopic is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, who previously directed the films “Becoming John Lennon” and “Fifty Shades of Grey”.
The film also stars Jack O'Connell (“Daredevil”), Eddie Marsan (“The Gentlemen”) and Lesley Manville (“Phantom Thread”).
The film was created with the participation of Amy Winehouse's family.
