On December 3, at the State Theater named after Kemine in the city of Mary, a concert of the children's choir of the Mary velayat school of arts and music named after Mollanepes, conducted by the Latvian choirmaster Vita Timermane, was successfully held.
The concert concluded the Week of European Culture in Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the European Union and Turkmenistan.

As reported by newscentralasia.net, in her opening speech, EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa said:
“Before I came to this beautiful city, I studied its rich history and was truly impressed. In ancient times, the city of Merv served as a gateway to Central Asia. By uniting East and West, he played a significant role in both politics and trade on a global scale. And today we are privileged to witness the revival of ancient traditions, as Turkmenistan takes on a decisive role in creating a transport corridor connecting the East and Europe”.
The concert program included famous European and Turkmen musical works for choir. The choir was accompanied by musicians from the State Symphony Orchestra of Rasul Klychev.
Let us remind that on November 26, in the capital of Turkmenistan, a concert of the Ashgabat children's choir under the direction of the choirmaster from Latvia, Ms. Vita Timermane, accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra, was held with great success.
