Shanice Palacios from Nicaragua wins Miss Universe pageant

23-year-old Shanice Palacios from Nicaragua won the Miss Universe title at the competition, which took place in El Salvador, MIR 24 reports.

Palacios was born in Managua on May 30, 2000. As a student, she was fond of volleyball. After graduating from high school, Sheinice entered the Central American University, where she studied mass communications.

Girls from more than 80 countries took part in the Miss Universe competition.
