President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of developing trade and economic ties, as well as cultural and humanitarian interaction, the Watan information program reported.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan conveyed greetings from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the head of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
