1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag. During the trip, the head of state got acquainted with projects for the construction of a complex of new buildings of the Turkmen Agricultural University and research institutes planned as part of the second phase of the city’s development.

2. Today, the grand opening of a specialized exhibition of Iran was held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The extensive exposition provided an overview of the goods and services of almost 100 companies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Large Iranian manufacturers in the fields of oil and gas, construction and roads, the automotive industry, and shipbuilding set up their stands here. One of the important sectors of the Iranian economy is the automotive industry, which is represented at the exhibition by the leading automobile manufacturer Iran Khodro.

3. The Turkmen delegation took part in the meeting of international participants of the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka. Particular attention was paid to the ceremony of transferring land for the construction of the National Pavilion. On November 16, the land plot was officially transferred to Turkmenistan. This act is the first among foreign participants of EXPO 2025.

4. A scientific and practical conference dedicated to World Diabetes Day was held in Turkmenistan. Speakers at the conference noted that diabetes is one of the central and most important medical and social problems in the world, and late diagnosis of the disease entails serious complications.

5. The Youth Forum of Central Asia and China continues its work in Mary. Today's sessions of the forum consider current issues of youth issues. One of them is devoted to a discussion of youth policies in Central Asia and China. The organization of the large-scale event was entrusted to the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.

World

6. Spain's Ministry of Equality has launched an app to help families share household responsibilities fairly. The app permits women and men to track and compare how much time they spend on household chores.

7. Actor Macaulay Culkin, best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in the “Home Alone” films, will receive a personal star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Culkin began his acting career at the age of 4. He starred in more than 30 films.

8. The composition of the Turkmenistan national team for the World Youth Weightlifting Championships, which is taking place these days in Guadalajara, has become known. The women's team will include Anamdzhan Rustamova and Gulalek Kakamyradova. The men's team included: Perhat Bahtiyarov, Gaygysyz Torayev, Resul Rejepov, Shahzadbek Matyakubov.

9. The 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship, which will be held on November 23-28 in Ashgabat, is expected to hold a record number of participants. If at last year's World Championships in the Indian city of Pune 365 people were involved, then 480 people from 53 countries have already applied to participate in the upcoming World Championships. At the World Championships in Ashgabat, it is planned to compete for 15 sets of medals - in seven men's and eight women's weight categories.
