Within the framework of a working visit to Tashkent to participate in the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The heads of the two states discussed the prospects for expanding mutually beneficial partnership in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the issues of intensifying economic cooperation within the framework of the ECO.
There was also an exchange of views on current issues on the international and regional agenda of mutual interest.
