The Dragon Oil company intends to completely stop burning gas when operating in Turkmenistan by 2027. This was stated by the company’s CEO Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan, reports the Nebit-Gaz website.
“At present time, we use 70% of the gas we produce, but in 3 years we hope to reach 100%, which will make our hydrocarbon production environmentally friendly for Turkmenistan”, said Al-Jarwan, speaking at the International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023”.
The Emirati company also recently completed a 3D scan of the field in collaboration with the Turkmen State Concern “Turkmenneft”. This process permits you to more accurately determine the contours of deposits and increase drilling efficiency.
