In the afternoon, an official meeting ceremony was held in Ankara between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the head of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Anadolu news agency reports.
After the ceremony, the heads of state were photographed in front of the flags of the two countries.
As part of the negotiations in narrow and expanded formats, the parties discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two fraternal countries, including in the fields of politics, economics, culture, energy, transport, investment and innovation.
The heads of Turkmenistan and Turkey also expressed their positions on some important regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The current summit meeting is a new important step towards further strengthening and development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, based on the historically established commonality of the two fraternal peoples, the TDH news agency comments on the results of the meeting.
