Young Turkmen tennis players successfully performed at the ATF U14 international tournament, which took place from October 13 to 20 in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The Turkmenistan national team’s collection included three gold and two silver medals.
In singles among boys under 14 years old, Imran Ahundov won. Selim Chagylov took second place. In the boys' doubles, the Turkmen duet consisting of Ahundov and Chagylov became the champion.
In the women's part of the competition, Ilima Huseynova won the singles tournament. In mixed pairs, Huseynova, together with Uzbek athlete Samira Kamalova, won a silver medal.
Turkmen tennis players competed at the tournament under the leadership of Andrey Dovmatov and Evgeny Molchanov. Over sixty athletes from Central Asian countries took part in the competition.
