Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the international festival Embrace The World, Embrace The Diversity, which was held at Beijing Transport University. The event brought together guests from 34 countries, who presented bright performances in the national style, reports the “Greater Asia” website.

The Turkmen delegation performed a dance number in which they showed the national dance kushdepdi. In addition, the festival participants treated the guests to the traditional dograma dish. University teachers recognized it as the best dish of the festival.
Dograma is a national Turkmen dish that is prepared from lamb, flatbread and onions.

This is not the first time that the dograma has attracted the attention of the world community. In August, Lebanese chef Abir El Saghir, who gained popularity on the social network Tik-Tok, prepared her own dograma. The video received several million views and over 150 thousand likes.

The Embrace The World, Embrace The Diversity festival was organized by Beijing Transport University to showcase cultural diversity and introduce the flavors of different countries. The event brought together guests from different parts of the world and allowed them to get acquainted with the traditions and cuisine of other cultures.
