The Turkmenistan basketball championship ended in Ashgabat, in which teams from all velayats of the country took part. Ashgabat basketball players won in the men's and women's divisions.
The championship was held in a round robin system. In the men's group, the “Ashgabat 1” team won, “Ashgabat 2” took second place, and the “Mary” team took bronze medals.
In the women's group, the “Ashgabat 1” team also won, beating basketball players from “Lebap” and “Balkan”.
Based on the results of the competition, the winners of individual competitions were also determined:
- Best three-point shot among women – Shirin Batyrova (“Lebap”)
- Best three-point shot among men - Merdan Muradov (“Dashoguz”)
- Best skill among women (dunk) – Gulnaza Reimova (“Ashgabat 1”)
- Best skill among men (dunk) – Kirill Besh (“Ashgabat 1”)
