Turkmen tennis player Ilima Huseynova won two victories at the start of the Asian Championship among juniors under 14, which takes place in the capital of Cambodia - Phnom Penh.

In the first round, she defeated the Indian tennis player Suryanshi Shekhawat in two sets, and in the second round she won a strong-willed victory over the second seed Emily Kim from Uzbekistan in the tournament with a score of 6:7, 7:6, 6:2.

In the quarterfinals, Ilima Huseynova will play with another Indian representative, Diya Ramesh.

Let us remind that the representative of Turkmenistan has earned the right to participate in such a prestigious tournament due to the fact that she takes 13th place in the Asian ranking among juniors under 14 years old.
