President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take part in the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which will be held on September 14, 2023 in Dushanbe.

“Attaching the importance of maintaining a trusting political dialogue, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to take part in the fifth, anniversary Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which will be held on September 14, 2023 in Dushanbe. I am convinced that the upcoming meeting will contribute to strengthening the process of developing regional cooperation and further strengthening security and stability in our common home - Central Asia," the letter of Emomali Rahmon, received by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, reads today, the text of which was read out today in the information program Watan Turkmen television.

The head of Tajikistan also expressed deep gratitude for the cordiality and warm hospitality shown during his stay in Ashgabat in early August this year.

In his opinion, the trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and in the Turkmen capital "enabled to discuss the pressing issues of the region in an open and trusting atmosphere."
