1. In Turkmenistan, on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, all first-graders will receive laptops as a gift from the President of the country. Bilimli brand laptops are designed by the specialists of Aýdyn Gijeler Business Association. They are equipped with a powerful processor, large amount of RAM and fast graphics. In addition, the laptops contain 11 built-in educational programs available in Turkmen, Russian and English.

2. Gismet Fizuli oglu Gezalov has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan. The corresponding Decree was signed by President Ilham Aliyev. As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gezalov replaced Hasan Sultan oglu Zeynalov, who headed the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in this Central Asian country since December 23, 2015.

4. 5. The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan has announced an international competition for the preparation and construction of a project for a new automobile bridge at the intersection of G. Kuliyev street and the “Taze Zaman” residential complex in Ashgabat. The competition is held on behalf of the State Agency for Road Construction Management.

6. A young poet from Turkmenistan, laureate of the Youth Prize Ismail Muhammetdurdyev became the winner of the international literary competition “Altyn Kalemler” (“Golden Pencils”), which is held annually in Türkiye. The work of Ismail Muhammetdurdyev “First of all - the Motherland” was awarded the corresponding prize in the field of poetry. In total, more than 50 authors from different countries took part in the poetry competition.

7. From September 30, “Rossiya” Airlines will launch direct daily flights between St. Petersburg and Dubai. Flights will be operated on Airbus-319 aircraft with a capacity of up to 128 passengers. Travel time will be about 5 hours 50 minutes.

8. During an X-ray examination, 11 rubber ducks were found in the stomach of a French bulldog. The owner of the dog became suspicious when rubber ducks from her collection began to disappear. She decided to take the dog to the vet and during the examination, the missing toys were found. The bulldog was immediately operated on and all the eaten ducks were removed from him. Rubber toys can be dangerous for pets, veterinarians warn.

The youth team of Turkmenistan (U-23) defeated their peers from China with a score of 2:0 in a friendly match, which took place in Dalian (PRC). 23 players representing the championship of Turkmenistan were called up to the Turkmen team, which is preparing for the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2024 under the leadership of Ahmed Agamuradov. Let us remind that in the qualifying group “K” Turkmenistan will meet with Indonesia and Taiwan. The matches will be held from September 6 to 12 in Indonesia.

10. The international chess tournament among boys and girls under 14 has ended in Moscow. 13 years old Turkmen chess player Mahri Agamuradova took second place in the category among girls. Mahri Agamuradova is a talented chess player. This year, she won the title of champion of Turkmenistan in the age categories under 14 and under 13, and also won a two-time silver medal at the Asian Championship among schoolchildren. Mahri's coach is Reimova Oguljan, who accompanied the young chess player to Moscow.
