Today, the final round of the television competition for amateur performers Ýaňlan, Diýarym!, held as part of the competition for the Golden Age of Turkmens award of the President of Turkmenistan, will take place. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed its participants with a welcoming message, which, in particular, reads:

“I cordially congratulate you on your participation in the final round of the TV competition Ýaňlan, Diýarym!, which is joyfully and solemnly held in our country.”

According to the head of state, the television competition Ýaňlan, Diýarym!, which has become a good tradition every year in the country on the occasion of the Independence Day, helps to identify young singers from the people who are passionate about song and music.

“The TV competition Ýaňlan, Diýarym!, held as part of the competition among figures of literature, culture and art, amateur young singers and gifted children for the Golden Age of Turkmens award of the President of Turkmenistan, is a kind of holiday for amateur young artists. The songs performed at the TV contest become a high anthem of the grandiose successes of the country, the happy and prosperous life of our people. TV competition Ýaňlan, Diýarym! is of particular importance in improving the abilities and talents of amateur young singers who wholeheartedly love the art of song and music, in raising their performance level,” says the message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, published today in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The head of Turkmenistan noted that the performance skills of well-known artists who had great merits in the formation of modern Turkmen song and music art, the songs bequeathed as a legacy remained forever in the soul of our people.

“Songs performed by such masters as Hero of Turkmenistan Maya Kulieva, opera singers Annagul Annagulyeva, Roza Toryaeva, Roza Hudaybergenova, Medeniyet Shahberdieva, Hodzhav Annadurdiyev, Ata Ilamanov, Aydogdy Gurbanov, pop singers Annaberdi Atdanov, Ovezgeldi Tekyaev, Saparmyrat Babaev, Atabay Charyguly ev, Nuryagdy Tokgaev, Gurbansoltan Nuryagdiyeva, Mami Charyev, Gurban Gummanov, Tachmuhammet Hajiyev, Oguljan Makiyeva should become an exemplary school for you.

Since ancient times, the Turkmen people have attached great importance to the traditions of mentoring. Pupils who went through the perfect school of an experienced mentor found their place in the world of art. It is also important now to successfully continue the mentoring tradition. We are firmly convinced that our amateur young singers, having deeply studied the creative school of master mentors, will not spare their talent and abilities to further improve our national song and musical art, create songs loved by the people,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.

At the end of the message, the head of Turkmenistan once again sincerely congratulated the finalists of the television competition Ýaňlan, Diýarym! And he wished them creative success in the inspired performance of new songs and music, enhancing the solemn atmosphere of significant holidays.
