From September 11 to 17, Shymkent (Kazakhstan) will host the final stage of the Asian Tennis Championship among children under 12, in which athletes from Turkmenistan will also take part.
As the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan reported on its page on the social network, the youth team achieved this right for the first time, taking second place at the qualifying Central Asian tournament that ended in June 2023 in Ashgabat.
We remind that from August 19 to 20, the Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan (FTT) Eziz Dovletov took part in a seminar for leaders on the development of tennis in Asia, which was held in Kuala Lumpur.
During the forum, Dovletov discussed with representatives of the Asian Tennis Federation the prospects for cooperation and development of this sport in the region.
