2. The compositions of three Turkmen schoolgirls were awarded the prize of the competition “TURKSOY - the golden bridge of the Turkic world”, which was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture. The competition was held among students of secondary educational schools in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan in order to preserve and further develop the community of culture, traditions and customs of the Turkic peoples in the modern world.
3. The international scientific and practical conference “The problem of the formation of national composer schools in a multicultural space”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov, will be held on October 30 in Moscow. The organizer of the conference is the organizing committee of the Moscow International Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov. The main music universities of Russia, Turkmenistan and the CIS countries will take part in the forum. The conference will be held in a face-to-face format.
4. Within the framework of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, Turkmenistan publishes various publications dedicated to the life and work of the great Turkmen poet and thinker. By the publication of 2023-2024, it is planned to publish several dozen new works about the life and work of the classic, collections of his poems, including richly illustrated gift editions, not only in Turkmen, but also in a number of foreign languages.
5. The National Museum of Wildlife, located on the slopes of the Kopetdag Mountains, invites visitors. There are 5 main exposition zones on the territory of the zoo: “African Savannah”, “Bird Market”, “Predator's Domain”, “Ungulate Territory” and the “Animal World” museum. It is permitted to feed some species of animals, for this you need to purchase food sold on the territory of the zoo. The zoo is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. Day off - Monday. 8. Derby between “Altyn asyr” and “Ahal” was held on Tuesday at the stadium “Sport toplumy” in Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat. The match was held within the framework of the 11th round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship and ended with a score of 2: 1 in favor of the team of the Main Department “Turkmennebitonumleri”. At the last minutes of the meeting, the head coach of “Altyn asyr” Yazguly Hojageldiyev received a second yellow card and was sent off the field.
9. The venue for the match of the preliminary round of the AFC Cup-2023/24 in the Central zone between “Merv” from Turkmenistan and “Alay” from Kyrgyzstan has been determined. The teams will play on Tuesday, August 15, at the 10 thousand -seat “Sport toplumy” stadium in Mary.
10. As a result of the next competitive day at the II Games of the CIS countries, Turkmen athletes won two medals - weightlifter Atajan Dayiev won a silver medal in the weight category over 109 kg, and freestyle wrestler Zyyamuhammet Saparov took a bronze medal in the weight category up to 125 kg.
