In early August, Ashgabat will host a trilateral summit with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
This was announced following a video conference between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and his counterparts from Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.
On the eve of the trilateral summit, work is underway on documents to be signed at a high-level meeting. In addition, separate meetings are held between representatives of foreign affairs agencies, railway workers, customs officers, and issues of developing economic relations, healthcare, agriculture, industry, science and education are discussed.
