The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan held consultations on consular issues between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The consultations were attended by representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as relevant law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere. Proposals for the exchange of experience between the consular services of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the implementation of joint projects and initiatives in this area were considered.
As a result of the negotiations, the Protocol on the implementation of the agreements reached was signed, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
