Today, at the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, a solemn meeting was held on the occasion of the transfer to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as a gift a two-volume collection of poems by Magtymguly Fragi from the Spiritual leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, annpunced the news program “Watan” of the Turkmen television.

The event was attended by leaders and scientists of the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.

In recent years, Turkmen-Iranian relations in the field of culture and education have reached a new level. International conferences and forums are regularly held with the participation of delegations from Turkmenistan and Iran. The organization of mutual Days of Culture, exhibitions of arts and crafts and other joint events determines the effective nature of cooperation. The transfer of a two-volume collection of poems by Magtymguly Fragi to Turkmenistan is intended to intensify relations established in this direction.

The collection of poetic works of the master of the artistic word of the Turkmen people will be a great help in a comprehensive study of his literary heritage. All this is of particular importance against the backdrop of large-scale preparations for the solemn celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great thinker and classical poet Magtymguly Fragi.
