1. The first pilgrims from Turkmenistan went to Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj to the holy places of Mecca and Medina. The group took off on a special flight organized in accordance with the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov by the “Turkmenhowayollary” Agency. During the celebration of Gurban Bayram, the Office of the Mufti of Turkmenistan plans to send 2312 Turkmen pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. To this end, “Turkmen Airlines” will operate eight charter flights on the route Ashgabat - Jeddah - Ashgabat and Ashgabat - Medina - Ashgabat in June-July 2023.
2. The Turkmen delegation headed by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev is taking part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
