The number of Chinese lawyers is growing rapidly

In China, the profession of a lawyer is gaining more and more popularity, reports the Xinhua news agency.

By the end of last year, more than 651,6 thousand practicing lawyers were registered in the country, which is 13% higher than in 2021, and the number of law firms reached 38,6 thousand.

At the end of 2022, Chinese lawyers took part in more than 8,24 million litigations and processed over 122 thousand citizens' requests for legal assistance.
