A round table will be held in Ashgabat on March 9 to promote fair recruitment during seasonal field work and to review legislation regarding the ban on forced labor, reports the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The event is expected to be attended by representatives of the Decent Work Technical Support Unit and the International Labor Organization (ILO) Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as the ILO Headquarters in Geneva.

As we previously reported, today a meeting with an ILO delegation was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
