In Kyrgyzstan, a ban on artists to perform under a phonogram is legally fixed, reports RIA Novosti. The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Altynbek Maksutov.

It is prohibited to perform to a phonogram at mass cultural events, in philharmonics, concert halls, clubs, sporting events, as well as in theaters, museums and libraries.

The phonogram ban came into force on January 1, 2023.
