The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of his birthday, reports report.az.

The message says that under the leadership of Aliyev the Azerbaijani Republic is confidently moving along the path of dynamic development, achieving outstanding success in all areas of public life and consistently strengthening its authority in the world.

Turkmen president noted his colleague's significant contribution to strengthening multifaceted Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation. This is reported by Orient news with reference to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan.

“Highly appreciating the current level of the multifaceted partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, I would like to specifically note your personal attention and enormous contribution to the development of interstate relations”, emphasized Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The Turkmen leader also noted recent meeting with Aliyev within the framework of the First Trilateral Summit of the Heads of State of Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Türkiye in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, during which the relations between states were supported by Joint statement and other documents.

“I am convinced that the fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue to develop successfully in the best traditions of friendship and good neighborliness and for the benefit of our peoples”, summed up the President Berdimuhamedov.
