The results of the states’ activities in the field of agro-industrial complex for 11 months were summed up at the extended meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on Friday.

Vice-Premier A.Yazmyradov, overseeing this field, reported that in general, the growth tempo of production volumes in the agro-industrial complex composed 104.1% in comparison with the same period of the last year.

The implementation of the plan for the cultivation of vegetables amounted to 115.3%, melons – 109.3%, fruit and berry products - 109%, the production of bread and bread products – 105.2%.

A draft procedure for granting long-term lease of irrigated lands to Dayhan associations for growing wheat and cotton by state order was submitted to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration. The document is aimed at regulating industrial relations between Dayhan associations and agricultural producers.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that an important requirement of the time is the performance of work carried out in accordance with agrotechnical standards for the care of land, especially sown with wheat. At the same time, attention should be paid to the cleaning of water channels, rational use of water resources, the head of state ordered.

In continuation of the topic, was noted the importance of organization on the planned basis of preparation to the cotton sowing for harvest of the next year, timely resolution of all issues related to the conduction of upcoming company and provision of coordinated activity of the structures involved in it.

Proper preparation for spring sowing and holding it at the appropriate level are the key to future generous harvests. In this regard, it is necessary to take a responsible approach to the repair of agricultural machinery and aggregates that will work during the sowing season, the President of the country stressed, addressing a number of specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister and the hyakims, according to today's newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan.
