Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed issues of expanding partnerships in various fields with Sahiba Gafarova, Chairwoman of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a parliamentary delegation.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, during the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
During the visit, the speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan will meet with the head of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammedova, address the deputies of the Turkmen parliament and hold talks with the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a bilateral document.
