A creative delegation headed by the Minister of Culture Zulfiya Davlatzoda arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Days of Culture of Tajikistan.

Popular choreographic groups, musicians and performers of folk and pop songs will present their best performances to Ashgabat residents, as well as residents of the city of Mary, where the final gala concert of the creative forum will be held.

One of the participants of the creative forum is the famous team of the Tajik State Dance Ensemble “Lola”, which is not the first time visiting Ashgabat. The team traces its history back to 1965 and bears the name of its founder and artistic director Gafar Valamatzade, the first Tajik choreographer, who himself was an excellent performer of folk dances for many years.

Today, the ensemble has an excellent theoretical base based on the age-old traditions of Tajik choreography. There are 50 dancers and 20 musicians in the group. The artists of the ensemble perform in beautiful national costumes, captivating the audience with incendiary rhythms and peculiar movements of the Tajik dance.

Popular in Tajikistan and outside the country is the dance ensemble “Parastu” of the State Philharmonic of Tajikistan named after A. Juraev. The choreographic group, founded in 2005, participates in the most prestigious competitions and festivals. Soloists carefully preserve folk traditions in their performance.

Works from the treasury of world and Tajik musical classics will be performed by people's artists Soibnazar Alovatov, Amirjon Ruziev, as well as Nosir Safarov and other talented vocalists.

Modern songs will be performed by pop singers, laureates of international competitions, including the “magic voice of Tajikistan” Chorshanbe Alovatov. The young Tajik vocalist became the first winner of the Grand Prix at the Central Asia's Got Talent competition, and is also a laureate of many other prestigious creative reviews.

Tajik artists will demonstrate the rich culture, spiritual heritage, art and unique traditions of their people, give the audience a lot of joy with the performance of songs and melodies, national choreography.

The first concert will be tonight at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center immediately after the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan.
