The solemn ceremony of putting the complex into operation was held with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, writes TASS with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
“Today, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a solemn ceremony to put into operation a complex of mudflow diversion facilities in the southern part of the capital of Turkmenistan was held”, - the report says.
Let us note that the structures were created to strengthen the security of the capital from mudflows.
Let us remind that in March 2020, the Ashgabat hyakimlik signed a contract with the “Production Association “Vozrozhdenie” (Russia) for the construction of a complex of mudflow diversion facilities, which will be located in the southern part of the city, in the foothills of the Kopetdag.
