Last week, the total amount of transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to over 10 million 334 thousand US dollars, reports the State Information Agency.
In total, 9 transactions were registered at the auction.
For foreign currency, businessmen from Great Britain, Türkiye and other countries purchased aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil processing complex. Moreover, entrepreneurs from Qatar purchased Portland cement for foreign currency.
For the home market, domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene (SC “Türkmennebit”), high-density polyethylene (SC “Türkmenhimiýa”) and ulyuk for a total amount of more than 18 million 231 thousands manats.
A week ago, the amount of currency transactions on the stock exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 2,3 million USD.
