As we previously reported, the international conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022” began its work yesterday afternoon in Ashgabat.

During the first day of the forum, more than 15 reports were made at the plenary session on the topic “The Future of the Energy System: New Challenges and Opportunities” and the first session.

According to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper, the speakers touched upon the topics of field development, well construction, production stimulation, digital technologies, alternative sources, hydrogen technologies and environmental issues in the production of hydrocarbons.

The reports of foreign participants of the forum confirmed the interest of many countries in strengthening cooperation with Turkmenistan.

This event gives participants the opportunity to share their experience in solving the strategic challenges facing the industry, as well as to strengthen interaction and establish contacts with world leaders in the oil and gas sector.

Speakers noted that in the development of natural resources, Turkmenistan demonstrates their rational use, concern for environmental protection, and the implementation of important international initiatives on energy security.

Discussions, meetings and “round tables” aimed at setting the right vector for the development of the oil and gas industry for years to come will be held on the sidelines of the conference until October 28. Let us remind that the international exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022” (OGT-2022) is also being held within the framework of the forum.
