A delegation from the Chelyabinsk region of Russia headed by governor Alexey Teksler arrived in Ashgabat. About this reports “Obl-TV” with reference to the press service of the governor of the Chelyabinsk region.
The delegation included the heads of leading companies of the Chelyabinsk region, ready to expand cooperation with enterprises of Turkmenistan.
Alexey Teksler and his deputies for economics and industry Ivan Kutsevlyak and Yegor Kovalchuk held meetings with members of the government of Turkmenistan - heads of sectoral departments for energy, construction, industry - on issues of cooperation in these areas.
The main item on the agenda was the oil and gas sector - representatives of the Pipe Metallurgical Company, “ChTPZ” PJSC, “MMK” PJSC, the “Konar” industrial group, and the “Ural” automobile plant participated in the discussion of possible cooperation with the heads of the largest state corporations of Turkmenistan.
It is expected that during the visit Alexey Teksler will meet with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The guests will also participate in the festive events dedicated to the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
