The strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and China has risen to a new level. This was stated by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in a message addressed to the President of Turkmenistan.

In a telegram, the PRC leader congratulated his Turkmen colleague Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who turned 41 today, on his birthday and wished him good health and prosperity.

“This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Turkmenistan. Thanks to the joint efforts of the two sides, Chinese-Turkmen relations have reached a high development momentum, and the strategic partnership between the two countries has risen to a new level. In March of this year, we successfully held a telephone conversation, during which we discussed a grandiose plan for cooperation between the two countries and reached important agreements”, - says the letter of the Chinese leader, published today in the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

In his message, Xi Jinping expressed confidence that, under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the people of Turkmenistan will achieve even greater success on the path of “Revival of a new era of a powerful state”.

“I pay great attention to the development of Chinese-Turkmen relations and ready to make joint efforts with you to systematically achieve new results in cooperation between China and Turkmenistan in all areas for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples”, - the President of China emphasized.
