The first position of the Minister of coffee appeared in the Government of Papua New Guinea. As the Prime Minister of the country James Marape noted, the recent years, Guinean coffee has become demanded in many countries of the world, particularly, it is purchased by the USA, Australia and Japan. In relation with such tendency, it is necessary to renew coffee industry, which flourished a while ago in the country, to make sure that export of this product brings more incomes.
At present time, coffee in the country is grown mainly by small farmers, they account for 85% of the annual harvest, which is 27% of all agricultural exports.
Only the selling of the palm oil brings more income brings, nearly 40 %. In the country also was created the Ministry for Palm Oil Affairs, reports rg.ru.
