Trainings on the use of an electronic information system for maintaining accounting and reporting documentation on tuberculosis were held in Turkmenistan. The events were held with the participation of experts from the World Health Organization, reports SNG.TODAY with reference to the WHO press service.
Andrey Mechinian and Andrey Kazaku trained the technical staff and medical staff to use the TB-RRIS program. Attention was paid to both operational aspects and software administration skills.
After the completion of the trainings, the trial phase was launched. Software testing will last until the end of December. After this stage, the piloting phase will begin, which includes the distribution of an electronic register among all TB dispensaries in the country. In addition to WHO, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is involved in the implementation of the relevant project.
