Athlete of the Turkmen team Sabina Kasymjanova came third in the 1500 meters race at the VII International Sports Games “Children of Asia” held in Russia.
An athlete from Uzbekistan Maftuna Amedova took the first place in the competition, who ran the distance in 4 minutes 36,80 seconds. Silver was also won by the representative of Uzbekistan Dilnoza Hoshimova (4:48,91). The time of the Turkmen athlete is 4 minutes 57,41 seconds.
Earlier, Sabina Kasymjanova won gold at the VII International Sports Games “Children of Asia” in the 3000 meters.
In the overall medal standings of the sports games “Children of Asia” the national team of Turkmenistan takes the ninth place. In total, the national team has 2 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals. The leaders in the number of medals are the Siberian Federal District of the Russian Federation (29-26-21) and the city of Moscow (22-30-22).
