The main tasks of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan include two additional tasks, these are:

ensuring the development and implementation of new information systems and technologies in the field of customs activities;
improvement of customs control using modern technologies and equipment, based on the risk management system in customs activities.

These tasks are defined by the Law of Turkmenistan On Making Additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On the Customs Service”, which was published in today's newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
