On Tuesday in Ashgabat a foundation laying ceremony of a new higher educational institution of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was held, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.
The members of the Government of Turkmenistan, rectors of higher educational institutions, heads of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, honorary elders, business community and mass media representatives.
The erection of the student’s campus was entrusted to the Turkmen IE “Nur bina gurlushyk”. The project provides for the construction of a modern complex consisting of four educational units and two units of students’ dormitories, each of which is designed for 300 places, also a library, a canteen, an indoor and outdoor sports complex.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan provide the JSB “Rysgal”, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan with means for funding of the higher educational institution construction.
The facility will be fully commissioned in September 2025. The new university will be located in Ashgabat at: Gorogly Street, 183.
The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was founded in March 2008 and is a public organization uniting industrialists and entrepreneurs engaged in entrepreneurial activity on the basis of private ownership, designed to express and protect the rights and legitimate interests of its members, to promote the development of entrepreneurship in the country.
