Women national 3x3 basketball team of Turkmenistan in passed to the final part of the Asian Cup, FIBA official website reports.
At the group stage of selection, the team of Turkmenistan beat Guam with a score of 21:14, Kazakhstan – 21:10 and Papua New Guinea - 21:11. The national team of Turkmenistan scored 63 points with three wins in three matches.
Thus, the Turkmen basketball players from the first-place break into the final part of the Asian Cup in Singapore.
In the roster of the Turkmen team went to Singapore for the Asian Cup: Dilfuza Azizova, Ayna Gokova, Leyla Halilova and Zybagozel Hydyrova.
In the women’s category, only 7 team entered to the main draw automatically, they are: Singapore (the tournament hosts), Australia (the current champions), Mongolia, China, Japan, Taiwan and Sri Lanka (the top 5 teams in the FIBA 3×3 ranking as of November 1, 2021).
