Specialists of the World Health Organization arranged a 5-day training for representatives of the medical sector of Turkmenistan, during which they are taught methods of improving tuberculosis control. This was reported in the WHO Press Service.
As part of the training, medical specialists are introduced to the principles of calculating the need for anti-tuberculosis drugs using the QuanTB tool designed for medical personnel of the anti-tuberculosis service.
As a result of this training, it is expected that participants will be able to use innovative methods of drug procurement and supply chain management in their routine practice and ensure optimal availability and access to anti-tuberculosis drugs.
