The Consulate of Turkmenistan in Aktau started extending the passports of the Turkmen citizens until the end of December 2024. The corresponding announcement is posted on the official page of the Consulate in one of the social networks.

In accordance with the Resolutions of the President of Turkmenistan No. 2300 dated July 1, 2021 and No. 77 dated April 28, 2022, the validity period of passports of the citizens of Turkmenistan for departure from Turkmenistan and entry into Turkmenistan, which ended or are ending in the period from January 1, 2020 to December 30, 2024, are considered extended until December 31, 2024.

In this regard, the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Aktau city) makes a note on the extension of their term in the foreign passports upon the request of the citizens of Turkmenistan.

To do this, the citizens of Turkmenistan must personally contact the Consulate. When visiting the Consulate, the citizens must have the original foreign passport, its copy, one 3×4 photo.

Originals of documents are accepted at the Consulate of Turkmenistan on working days from 09:00 to 17:00. The issuance of a passport with a ready-made mark takes place on the day of application.
