Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov during his visit to Kazan today.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Advisor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin also took part in the meeting held at the Kazan-Expo site.
The interlocutors discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation between the countries and reviewed promising projects with the participation of Russian business implemented in various sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan. The Russian Minister emphasized that all investment projects with the Russian participation remain relevant.
It should be noted that this is Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's second trip abroad in a new official status. Earlier, he made a trip to Abu Dhabi, where he took part in memorial events on the occasion of the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
