Issues related to the organization of the business forum were discussed during online negotiations between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic Toyli Komekov and the office of the Governor of the Veneto region, held on the 27th of April.

The talks become a continuation of a dialog, started during the meeting of the Turkmen Ambassador with the Governor of the region Luca Zaia during his visit to Veneto in November last year.

Representatives of trade and economic departments and business circles of Turkmenistan and Veneto are expected to participate in the business forum.

The parties discussed directions of mutual interest and subject to discussion during the business forum. Cooperation in the textile sector, industry, agriculture was called important, in particular, the introduction of modern Italian technologies for the production and processing of textile products, the creation of infrastructure for use in the country's water sector, as well as the establishment of enterprises of the refrigeration industry.

Veneto is one of the largest economic regions of Italy with high standard of living. The region is well known for its creative and innovative business, highly developed industrial and agricultural sector, machine-building, food, design and light industry.
